Supplier Enablement Specialist


The creation of a new operating model will transform ABI Procurement Function towards a much higher level of centralization at Regional level. This will require a high level of client satisfaction and efficiency at Local and Regional level.

The Supplier Enablement Specialist responsibility is to implement and sustain this transformation. The specialist core duty is to execute change management towards both external and internal stakeholders while increasing the efficiency of the overall newly designed procurement processes and systems.


The key accountabilities for this role include but are not restricted to:

Project Management:
• Execute change management project activities for internal & external stakeholders
• Support alignment with other functions within Procurement and outside
• Perform trainings on new requirements & processes

Supplier Enablement:
• Obtain acceptance of requirements from supplier
• Resolve supplier objections or facilitate policy exception for supplier
• Document supplier’s acceptance/rejection of requirements
• Communicate portal / e-Auction connectivity information to supplier
• Ensure supplier has connectivity
• Train supplier on portal / e-Auction tools, required formats and technical settings

General tasks:
• Monitor supplier participation and behaviour in portal and e-Auction events
• Resolve portal and e-Auction usage issues with supplier
• Leading end to end project implementations within procurement Europe Scope
• Ensuring blacklists for suppliers AB-InBev do not want to work with are up to date
About the candidate:
3. Requirements:

• Education
- University Degree or equivalent

• Critical skills needed for success in this position:
A. Understanding of sourcing tools (SAP, SRM, Emptoris, etc)
B. Analytical skills
C. Ability to conceptualize business impact focused analytics
D. Communicating effectively by conveying information and ideas in a clear, meaningful, and timely manner, providing information to ensure understanding; solicit inputs and provide open candid conversations
E. Establishing collaborative working relationships
F. Languages: English, any other European language would be considered a plus

• Preferred skills for this position:
A. Hands-on procurement / category/ Project management experience
B. Experience and understanding of sourcing and analytics tools such as Ariba, Emptoris, advanced MS Excel
