Purpose of the Job

Design longer-term strategic plan for automation of the extended back-office processes in particular back-office operations and translate these strategies into business cases and execute accordingly.

Focus is to achieve workload savings replacing selected manual work with robot work → deployment of robotics across whole Shared Service Center (SSC) and then redeploy people to less transactional / more analytical work.
Coordinate an internal team of robotics automation developers and senior developers to deliver the automation deployment plan.

Manage a team of excel macro automators functioning as center of excellence for Prague and Kharkiv SSC’s.

The Project Manager is acting as the main contact between IT/IS department and the SSC management regarding automation initiatives and is responsible for delivering financial savings within managed CAPEX budget.

Accountabilities

  • Design and execution of a long term strategy for robotics automation, identifying clear opportunities for overhead reduction.
  • Work closely with project experts, process leaders, SME’s in setting up and leading workshops to identify automation opportunities, major process redesign, and developing project plans to achieved those opportunities.
  • Prioritization of projects and close follow up on single project automation progress
  • Change management and coordination of people team linked topics as needed (adjustment of JDs of impacted people, moving resources based on the redesigned process flows etc)
  • Supporting existing automations and implementing change requirements as part of a structured change control process.
  • Ensure all automated process solutions are prepared in accordance with standard design principles and conventions.
  • Problem solving issues that arise in day to day running of automated processes and providing timely responses and solutions as required.
  • Risk mitigation within ongoing projects
  • Working within project planning constraints, communicating any identified project risks and issues to key stakeholders accordingly and providing inputs to the change control process.
  • Ultimately accountable for the quality, stability and scalability of the designed solutions
About the candidate:
Education
  • University degree or equal by experience
Experience
  • Project Management, Process and System Improvements
  • Min 3 year experience in leading a team and project management / process and system improvement
  • Min 2 years experience with SAP (navigation, tables)
  • Experience in working in a process-oriented organization
  • Blueprism software automation experience is a plus
