OOH TMK Executive MBL

1. Purpose of the job

1. Market/ Trade programs (30%)

1) Lead strategic direction to develop overall go-to-market strategy for the Out of Home Channel
2) Work closely with the Sales Team(s), Brands and other company departments to ensure a coordinated approach to trade marketing campaigns
3) Provide leadership in the translation of the Trade Marketing strategy into impactful trade programs.
4) Work closely with external agencies/suppliers to spearhead effective campaigns
5) Use consumer/customer insights to guide the trade marketing programs to a place where profitable volume lift can be achieved along side of brand experience
6) Lead efforts to leverage the Global/ ZOne Trade programs and customize programs for the local BU

2. Execution (50%)

1)Engage with Sales/ and Merchandising Teams to ensure the effective and efficient use of IH resources  
2) Drive IH program execution at POC/ Store level/ Depot and Head office level
3) Ensuring alignment across the Sales and Marketing teams on field sales (both customer, Partners and Merchandisers) needs and marketing initiatives leading to great execution
4) lead the development of action plans against gaps and focus the Sales teams to drive profitable solutions
5) Give consistent feedback and progress updates on agreed actions plans and lend support 
6) Weekly VT and Monthly reviews of all initiatives and present to various levels of management on a regular basis to attain appropriate approvals

3. Key Accounts (20%)- OOH Channel

1) Develop a thorough understanding of key national account opportunities and needs- by being in the Market place and at the POC
2) Develops trade marketing plans aligning with Company goals and objectives in collaboration with those of the customers to grow share and volume
3) Ensures all promotions reflect Brand Values/ VBI/ CCI and strategies while aligning with account goals
4) Develop customized programming while adhering to the national brand direction
5) Ensure customer brand promotions are on budget
6) Adhere to Critical Path Management process for all brand programming (on time delivery).
7) Brand Content Deployment Colleagues and Working with Ad, Media agencies to develop innovative and custom  promotions in select National Key Accounts
8) Providing leadership to the KA team on the execution of the Marketing strategy and new solutions within the market place

4. Work closely with procurement, legal, CA and regions to implement new solutions for channel
About the candidate:
2. Qualifications, Skills and Experience required in the role


- University Degree – Business or related field
• Field sales experience and Sales/ Marketing managerial experience
• Preferred experience in the alcohol industry and/or packaged goods
• Project management experience
• Brand or trade marketing experience an asset
• Category management experience an asset

Technical competencies:

- Strong team work skills and orientation
- Excellent communication, presentation, negotiation skills
- Must bring a focused, detailed and disciplined approach to tasks.
- Ability to prioritize and manage a wide range of projects.
-  Must build relationships by working with market units and agencies to ensure program synergies and success of brand initiatives
- Deep understanding of what drives consumer & shopper behavior
-  Ability to build insightful/impactful plans to address brand opportunities in all channels
-  Ability to drive change and innovation on brand initiatives to ensure it drives the business toward growth and keeps costs in control
- Ability to demonstrate passion for business results: responsible for ROI on marketing spend: focus on delivering key metrics of volume and share within budget
- An ability to think strategically and act like an owner
- Ability to lead and develop agency account teams to deliver results
-Ability to develop and coach junior reports
