CSR Manager BNL & CA Manager NL

Purpose of Position:
  • Development and Project management for Better World initiatives and files at BU level, with the primary focus on the BeNeLux activities and business -  Implement initiatives to position AB Inbev as the Best Beer Company in a Better World and improve AB InBev’s reputation The Netherlands and promote the Better World agenda
  • Responsibility to manage AB InBev’s relationships in The Netherlands with: Government at national and local level, Nederlandse Brouwers and other business federations and associations and other influential key stakeholders
  • Defend AB InBev’s interests in key files relating to: freedom to market beer in The Netherlands and avoidance of marketing or sales restrictions, environmental rules and regulations applicable to the beer industry and AB InBev in particular in The Netherlands
  • Responsible for External Communications in The Netherlands and spokesperson for The Netherlands business
  • Preparation of dossiers for lobbying with stakeholders in the Netherlands
  • Brand PR at the level of the Benelux BU
Main Accountabilities:
  • Work with the Senior Corporate Affairs Manager to develop and define the PA strategy for and implement it in the Netherlands
  • Advocate and represent the company’s interests with the governments and all other external influencers in The Netherlands
  • Advocate and represent the company’s interests in business federations (Nederlandse Brouwers, etc.)
  • Work with all departments to identify opportunities for the company in the regulatory field that enhance its competitive position
  • Anticipate regulation with a negative impact on company performance and devise strategies and campaigns to avert such competitive threats
  • Develop pro-active programming, where appropriate with business federations, to communicate the positive impact of the company and its brands on the socio-economic environment
  • Support EU and global corporate affairs programming and campaigning through outreach to national officials involved in EU/global affairs (e.g. foreign ministry, Embassy, Members of European Parliament, EU Council of Ministers)
  • Analyze regulation and legislation, assess impact and develop action plans in response
  • Prepare and update public affairs tools: position papers, company statements, fact sheets, Q&A’s, presentations, etc.
  • Organise meetings with and company visits for external stakeholders in The Netherlands
  • Responsible for external communications strategy in The Netherlands and spokesperson for AB InBev Nederland
About the candidate:
Qualifications:
  • Master degree – preferably in Communication, Law, Journalism or Marketing or Similar - Solid business acumen through education and/or experience
  • At least 5-7 years’ experience in PR/PA or external communications role (agency, administration or in-house – preferably within FMCG)
  • Strong communicator and creative mind, good copyright and writing skills - Perfectly bi-lingual NL & English (written and spoken) – French is a plus
  • Excellent understanding of the local and international political and media environment - Business acumen - Proactive mindset - good networking skills
