  Transport Admin Senior Specialist


Support the GE Transport activities by ensuring correct & timely payment to Internal/External transport partners. Provide monthly follow-up of the transport performance vs. budget. Support the development and implementation of the EU Logistics Transport Strategy. 


  • Manage weekly/monthly admin routines with our logistics and transport partners (freight audit, billing proposal and invoicing)
  • Maintain day to day administrative data in the systems
  • Ventilate the transport costs into the relevant VLC cost centers during the month end closing process with the country BBP
  • Identify and implement cost-saving opportunities and help define and implement the transport strategy
  • Work in compliance with the legal requirements and internal accounting compliance rules
  • Support the BBP and reporting teams to bring visibility on financial results (> $20,00Mio yearly budget)
  • Support the reporting process for GE and Intercompany transport activities

About the candidate:

  • Analytical skills and attention to detail / Reliability / Punctuality
  • Interpersonal skills / Assertiveness & Communication /  General business acumen
  • Acceptance to work within shifts and be flexible over shifts

  • Experience in Administration or a FMCG Company for at least 1-2 years
  • Experience in Supply chain overall and in Logistics Transport or Warehousing

  • Fluency in English, Intermediate German
  • French, Italian or Dutch is a plus.

  • Education level: Graduate degree
  • Behavioral skills: Team spirit, Interpersonal skills, Problem solving, Ownership, ABI culture adherence, Flexible to work over shifts
  • Technical skills: Microsoft Office (Excel and Power Point) / SAP /  TMS portal experience is an advantage / System minded
