Qualifications and Technical competencies required
Education • University degree in Economics, Business and related field required. • Qualification in relevant accounting profession (ACA, CIMA, ACCA) or 5+ years experience in financial accounting role Experience • Good business and commercial understanding • Experience in working in an ERP environment is a plus • Experience in working in a multi-national environment is a plus • Well developed accounting skills • Attention to detail and high level of accuracy Behavioural Competencies • Work in a multi-cultural environment • High level of service mindset • Excellent analytical and strong organization skills; adheres to deadlines; • Highly results focused. • Excellent team player, able to develop strong relationships with colleagues and peers • Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing. • Ability to build productive working relationships across functional areas. • Capable of being entrusted with “confidential” information. • Good interpersonal skills Technical competencies: (Job related) • Good analytical and problem solving skills • Computer skills (Excel, Powerpoint, Word, Outlook etc); • Flexibility • Excellent writing and verbal communication skills; • Strong influencer, able to challenge management and staff where appropriate • Able to work on own initiative and prioritize workload effectively
