Global Packaging Innovation Manager, specialist in Metal/Aluminium GITEC
Expertise in Metal
Reporting to Global Director Innovation Packaging

Location: Global Headquarters – Leuven, Belgium

Purpose of the Job:
  • The Global Packaging Engineer is responsible to develop, execute packaging projects including Materials and Design Structure improvements, leading cross-functional teams, translating commercial needs into technology requirements, driving internal and supplier development and implementation
  • 4+ years of strong FMGC experience in packaging development (preferable in “metal/aluminium/cans”)
  • A technical leader with proven experience and track record of delivering results
  • Ability to effectively communicate with senior management
  • Understanding and conduct IP searches.
  • Connect and collaborate with AB InBev Global and Local innovation teams 

About the candidate:

Education & Experience

  • University technical degree or equivalent (Civil Engineering , (material) Science, Chemie,…)
  • Profound technical expertise in the science & technologies associated with Packaging Development
  • Strong ability to lead and manage projects with high level of complexity (technical / geographical / business impact / No of stakeholders )
  • DOE (Design of Experiment) or Six Sigma (Black Belt, Green Belt, etc.)
  • Experience and passion for front end innovation
  • Strong communication, English speaking and writing skills
  • Strong project management skills
  • High impact and influence
