Wholesaler Account Manager Galicia (flexible location within Galicia) / Responsible de Distribuidores en Galicia (ubicación flexible en Galicia)

Purpose of role

Our Wholesaler Manager implements the strategy of the company in the wholesalers of the on trade channel. He tracks in a permanent way the wholesaler performance in order to assure the profitability and volume agreed of our brands.

Roles & responsibilities 
  • Prepare and Manage annual negotiations with wholesalers in your area, including activation plans in line with the trade marketing guidelines.
  • Negotiate wholesales agreement and make the follow up
  • Increase the wholesalers network in line with the “Wholesales Scorecard”
  • Define and manage the implementation of the strategy of the wholesalers in the On Trade channel to increase sales volume and distribution, and gather data from the outlets. Increase sales force to support the implementation of the already defined guidelines.
  • Manage the definition and monitor KPIs to measure the performance of our distributors and guide future decisions in terms of: volumes, profitability, financial performance, distribution and coverage, level of service
  • Define and implement the management wholesaler strategy in the on trade channel in the region under his responsibility. Activate the wholesaler sales force in order to support the guidelines implementation.
  • Work with the sales team from the wholesaler to achieve the annual plan previously agreed
  • Map out the distributors in your area and have a great in-depth knowledge of them (size, products, sales trends, clients)
  • Manage and regularly control the budget  (ZBB) of your area based on the company policies
  • Support the Area Manager in other projects related to his role/ area

About the candidate:
About the candidate
  • University degree (Bachelor/Master) in economics
  • Minimum 4 years of business work experience
  • Proactive and dedicated to teamwork
  • Ability to assess and monitor trade issues and propose appropriate solutions
  • Basic knowledge of Trade Marketing
  • Flexibility (working hours, approach and style)
  • Tenacity and flexibility in achieving the objectives
  • Ability to listen actively 
  • Integrity and reliability, even under stress
  • Adaptability in a changing environment
  • Knowledge of finance: Profit & Loss and Pricing Management
  • Computer skills: Excellent in MS Office (especially MS Excel)
  • Excellent knowledge of beer products, method of administration and competition
  • Familiar with legal regulations and understanding of the main concepts of basic commercial laws
  • Fluent in Spanish
