Senior Brand Manager - Budweiser

Develop and implement marketing plans for Budweiser in the UK and Ireland, in order to deliver against annual plan. Specifically, lead implementation of Equity campaigns and On Trade coordination with trade marketing and sales teams.

Job Description:

  • Senior Brand Manager for Budweiser in the UK, based in London. 
  • Responsible for developing and implementing marketing plans for Budweiser in the UK, in order to deliver against annual plan. 
  • Lead cross agency team to develop and implement Equity and EPL campaigns. Ensure full alignment with Budweiser Global Team, as well as Zone Marketing stakeholders. 
  • Lead On Trade agenda, working closely with Trade Marketing and Sales to develop and implement plans which are aligned to our strategy and drive growth of the brand in this channel. 
  • Work with Insights team to track brand health, understand potential of innovation and activations and evaluate performance. 
  • Excellent communication and influencing skills required. Must demonstrate analytical and strategic thinking, as well as good creative judgement.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Brand planning:
  • Support Marketing Manager in development of annual plan for Budweiser
  • Specifically, lead On Trade plan, ensuring alignment with sales and trade marketing
Campaign management:
  • Lead localization and implementation of Equity and EPL campaigns, managing a cross agency team
  • Source learnings and align if required the UK plans with plans from other key Budweiser markets
  • Evaluate effectiveness of campaign, working with Insights, connections and cross agency teams, and implement learnings in future campaigns
  • Lead implementation of on-trade innovations for Budweiser 
  • Work with sales, tech sales, category and insights team to analyse learnings and make recommendation 
On Trade Activation:
  • Work with Trade Marketing to develop On Trade Activation plan aligned to brand strategy
  • Ensure On Trade sales team fully engaged with Budweiser plans through regular updates and customer presentations, as required
Budget Management:
  • Manage the budget efficiently and work closely with the finance team to ensure accuracy.
About the candidate:
Qualifications, Skills & Experience: 
  • Graduate 
  • Substantial experience in Blue Chip Marketing teams ideally in an FMCG environment
  • Proven experience to deliver challenging results and clear demonstration of project management and critical thinking 
  • Proven knowledge of our business or clear aptitude to understand it – with a understanding of the customer, consumer, brand agenda
  • Proven ability to build relationships and teams, ability to influence cross functional initiatives and proven ability to persuade and influence to achieve challenging results
  • Proven experience in simplifying processes  and being focused and disciplined
  • Clear demonstration of thinking and act as owner.  
  • Strong financial acumen 
  • Take leadership on own personal development and start to demonstrate leadership and development of others
